👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan.

  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

  4. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt just until combined.

  5. Fold in the shredded coconut (and optional add-ins).

  6. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.

  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.

  8. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

💡 Tips

  • For extra chewy bars, slightly underbake.

  • Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream 🍨

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
